Upstream won the 2009 Mobile Advertising and Marketing (MAMA) Gold Award for “Best Use of Mobile in Driving New Revenues and Sales” for this mobile promotion with O2 Czech Republic. Upstream’s brief was to create an original mobile campaign format with high value daily prizes and to achieve a sizeable increase in ARPU. The campaign was the largest ever in the market both in terms of participants, and messages received.
